How to Clean Baby Toys

Babies love toys and don't consider the dangers that exist when playing with things that may have been exposed to germs or other outside elements. Unless toys are cleaned properly and often, your child can become ill from lingering dirt, grime, or germs.

Consider the following when preparing to clean baby toys in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Wipe toys such as the rc heli model that have been dropped on the ground or had contact with any dirt, lint, or grime with baby wipes. anitize any durable, plastic toys, especially those intended to go in the baby's mouth, thoroughly by submerging them in boiling water.
These include teething toys or pacifiers. Boil a pot of water and, once boiling, place any toys into the pot for approximately 10 minutes. Take the toys out of the boiling water and let them cool off for several minutes before handing back to your infant. Always inspect the toys after boiling to ensure they were not damaged in any way that could pose a threat to your child.
Toys that make direct contact with the baby's mouth but can't be boiled should be cleaned with very hot water and liquid dishwashing soap. Make sure all soap is thoroughly rinsed off before giving the toy back to the infant. Use a damp sponge to clean plastic or wooden baby toys that have remnants of food stuck to the surface. Apply a solution of distilled white vinegar and water to clean baby toys.
Combine the vinegar and water, in equal parts, in a spray bottle. Spray dirty toys with the mixture and let rest for 15 minutes. Wipe off any remaining vinegar and water mixture. Mix your own natural cleaning products such as warm water and baking soda. Combine 1 quart water with 4 tablespoons of baking soda. Use a clean towel to wipe down rc toys with the mixture. Wash stuffed animals in a washing machine if the washing instructions included on the toy affirm that machine washing will not ruin the item. Use hot water and dry on a low heat or let air dry.

Wash baby toys that are plastic and durable against heat in the dishwasher. Place the toys in the top rack of the dishwasher, and set the washer to its heat dry setting. Drain all bath toys of water after each use. Any residual water inside a toy can quickly turn to mold if left sitting.

How to Start Your RC Vehicle

IW04M-Ford-GT-Drift-Car
This will give detailed explanation on how to start up your nitro vehicle. It will explain how to correctly start up the engine for those who are new or whose who have forgotten.
Check your nitro vehicle for any damage from your last run. Look for cracks, loose screws, chipped screws, any thing missing or damaged and a very simple way to easily see problems is to have a clean vehicle. This way, dirt or any grime won't obstruct any damage to your car. Make sure all your batteries have enough energy to get your car through the run and don't be cheap. Would you rather simply replace some old batteries then have to pay to fix your car because your battery died and tried to challenge a sidewalk? Make sure the batteries in the remote are working well and that the batteries that are in your car also work well. Make sure your glow starter is working and it has enough energy. Make sure everything is well lubricated and that your air filter is clean and oiled. Take your car to an area where you can pour your fuel without any hazards. After you pour your fuel, prime it so that yourengine has fuel to start up with.

Then stick your glow starter into the engine and depending on your car, you can manually pull-start it by giving short but quick pulls and make sure that you do not damage the starter by pulling too far back. You can also use a electric starter which resembles a drill in which you can stick it in the engine and start it without any effort.

How to Maintain a RC Car

The hobby of RC car collecting and racing is growing in population every day. Learn how to correctly use and maintain that new hole in your wallet!! Understand pricing Many remote control(RC) cars can cost up to $1000 or more--so knowing how to use it properly and keeping the parts working the way they are supposed to is critical.

Make your buying selection. When selecting a RC car, you have many types to choose from. First you want to choose if you like electric (runs off of a battery) or gas powered (runs off of gas)or Nitro (runs off nitromethane) gas car and nitro cars are most often faster-some reach speeds over 50 mph!
Electric and gas cars each have their strengths and weaknesses. Correct wiring Before running your car, make sure all wires are properly connected. A battery that is not fully connected will give you very little power. Get a car that strikes with your interests Different types of cars are suitable for different types of terrain. Some of the most popular are carpet cars, off road, buggies, monster trucks, and stadium cars.
There are others, these are just the most popular. Know your cars stats Make sure you know the top speed of your car and the highest turning angle it is capable of. This could be the difference between a nasty crash and being able to use it again tomorrow. Get the most from your motor Make sure your motor and slipper gear are properly aligned. A mesh that is too tight will stress out the motor and esc (speed control). Make sure the mesh is not too tight and not too loose either-(this will result in huge power loss). It helps to place a piece of paper between the two gears if you are not familiar with how tight it should be. Just make sure to remove the paper before running your car.
Prepare for a run Before every run, make sure all screws are properly tightened and there are none missing. Config. shock travel correctly Most newer cars have adjustable colars on the shocks. Make sure these correspond with the type of terrain you will be working with. A car with no travel will not handle jumps effectively and will most likely cause damage to your car.

Handle jumps correctly Approach jumps straight with the tires facing straight ahead. Accelerating in the air is never a good idea unless you are skilled with remote control cars and know what you are doing. Getting the right tires Tires should always match the type of terrain you will be running in. This will reduce tread wear, save money and increase performance.
